Resource page for the Covid-19 Contact Register
How it works
For retailers who want to avoid manual lists at the counter and maintain privacy for Customers or just for those who want a ‘digital diary’ of where they have been.
To streamline the process, participating businesses can display this poster or provide the Contact Register form web address of bit.ly/covid-19contact to visitors, customers or staff for them to complete directly online from either their mobile, tablet or even a computer.
There’s no registration or sign-up required by businesses or individuals - it is entirely discretionary to use this Contact Register.
Covid-19 Terms, Conditions and Privacy Statement
Disclaimer: the Contact Register for Covid-19 is an independently offered service and is not commissioned by the New Zealand Government.
We were first
In early April 2020 New Zealand went into ‘Covid lockdown’ and onus was placed squarely on businesses to collect customer contact details as the economy opened back up. Here at processCentral we created the first simple and effective method to achieve this whilst the government-sponsored app was being developed. Many businesses benefited from using our solution and many still use it today for those customers who do not have access to the government app. It remains an effective alternative to pen-and-paper registers which have not only exposed privacy challenges, they are ineffective against disease-spread.
We are committed to keeping this service running until such as time as it is not being used or Covid-19 is brought under control and it is no longer required.
